Our Facilities

Our head office is located in Yangon and all projects conducted around the country are centrally coordinated from here. When projects are to be conducted in areas where local language and cultural understanding are required, teams from head office travel to the areas to recruit staff who attend centrally coordinated training and testing in Yangon. They are then accompanied back to the field by Yangon Supervisors.

For qualitative research we have a custom facility that provides clients with the opportunity to observe Focus Group Discussions or In-Depth interviews first-hand with audio and video recording with headsets for Myanmar language speakers and simultaneous translation for non-Myanmar language speakers.

The facilities allows respondents and the Moderator to participate in group discussions without observers/researchers also being in the same room. Researchers observing the groups can discuss the research as it happens and guide probing or introduce questions without interrupting the group dynamic. This provides for better forming of groups, more natural discussion of topics and better early analysis.

Respondents are informed that their discussion is being recorded for analysis purposes in line with the European Society For Opinion and Marketing Research (ESOMAR) ethical guidelines followed by Compass.

Sexuality research is not observed in line with the confidentiality agreements made between interviewers and respondents.
